Anthony Watson Joins the Line up at the Evelyn Partners Padel Cup

We are delighted to announce that friend of Laureus and retired England rugby international Anthony Watson will join the inaugural Evelyn Partners Padel Cup as an event ambassador.

Recognised as one of England’s most exciting rugby talents, Watson has represented his country on the world stage and toured with the British & Irish Lions. This October, he will bring his drive, energy and passion for sport to Padium, Canary Wharf. His involvement will also help shine a spotlight on the work of Laureus Sport for Good, the charity partner of the event, which uses the power of sport to support young people worldwide in overcoming violence, discrimination and disadvantage.

The Evelyn Partners Padel Cup will feature 16 mixed teams from leading City firms, including Big Four, Magic Circle law firms, major banks and city innovators. Teams will compete on Padium’s state-of-the-art courts before enjoying hospitality and networking opportunities alongside ambassadors and special guests.

As the fastest-growing racket sport in the UK, padel continues to capture the imagination of both sportspeople and professionals. The Evelyn Partners Padel Cup offers City executives the chance to experience the game in a competitive yet collaborative setting, while supporting a powerful cause.

Funds raised will go directly to Laureus Sport for Good, reinforcing Evelyn Partners’ commitment to using sport as a catalyst for positive change.
