High energy day of competition at the Evelyn Partners Padel Cup 2025
The inaugural served up a spectacular day of padel action, bringing together a stellar City line-up, padel professionals, Laureus ambassadors and a shared passion for one of the fastest growing sports in the UK.
Set against the elegant backdrop of , the tournament delivered fast paced rallies, fiercely contested matches and superb hospitality. Guests enjoyed food and drink from and event partners including , and .
After a series of closely fought matches, Padel Travel X emerged victorious, defeating EY in the Championship final, lifting the Evelyn Partners Padel Cup trophy. In the Plate competition, Oliver Wyman overcame City AM to claim the silverware. The final line up featured strong City representation, with teams including Evelyn Partners, Clifford Chance, Addleshaw Goddard, Oliver Wyman, Ernst & Young, PwC, Macfarlanes, TTB Sport, Weatherbys Private Bank, City AM, Howden, Padel Travel X, Laureus, Pragnell, Saracens and Highstead Partners.
“We were so thrilled by the success of the first Evelyn Partners Padel Cup, with such wonderful feedback. The event was made by the energy and enthusiasm that all the players and teams brought. It was so uplifting too to see a truly mixed sporting event thrive like this in the business environment. We cannot wait for next year,” said Charlie Grave, Head of Padel at TTB Sport.
The event brought together a star studded line up of ambassadors including Michael Vaughan, Anthony Watson and Sophie Bray, alongside some of the UK’s leading padel professionals, Aimee Gibson, Frankie Langan, Victoria Nicholas and Rafa Vega who brought world class energy and skill to the court through coaching clinics and an exhibition match.
This year’s event raised funds for Laureus Sport for Good and Street League, helping to support their shared mission to use the power of sport to change young lives.
