Michael Vaughan set to join the Evelyn Partners Padel Cup

We are pleased to announce that Laureus Ambassador and former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan will join the inaugural Evelyn Partners Padel Cup as an event ambassador.

Recognised for leading England to one of their most memorable Ashes victories, Vaughan will bring his competitive spirit and enthusiasm for sport to the tournament at Padium, Canary Wharf, this October. His role will also help highlight the work of Laureus Sport for Good, the charity partner of the event, which uses the power of sport to support young people worldwide in overcoming violence, discrimination and disadvantage.

The Evelyn Partners Padel Cup will host 16 mixed teams from leading City firms, including the Big Four, Magic Circle law firms, major banks and city innovators. Teams will compete on Padium’s state-of-the-art courts before enjoying hospitality and networking opportunities alongside ambassadors and special guests.

As the fastest-growing racket sport in the UK, padel continues to attract attention from professionals looking for both competition and connection. The Evelyn Partners Padel Cup will provide a unique opportunity for city executives to experience the sport while supporting a powerful cause.

With just over a month to go until the tournament, anticipation is building. Additional athletes and ambassadors will be confirmed in the lead-up to the event, further strengthening the tournament’s position as the City of London’s premier corporate padel competition.

Funds raised through the tournament will go directly to Laureus Sport for Good, reinforcing Evelyn Partners’ ongoing commitment to sport as a positive driver of change.
