Supporting Street League Through the Evelyn Partners Padel Cup
At the Evelyn Partners Padel Cup, we believe in the power of sport to change lives. That’s why, in our inaugural year, we are proud to be raising funds for Street League, a Laureus Sport for Good programme making a real difference here in the UK.
About Street League
Street League uses sport and education to tackle poverty and help young people into jobs, training, and education. Through 12-week academies, job clubs, and regular sports sessions, they work with young people aged 14–30 living in some of the UK’s most disadvantaged communities.
The aim is simple: to break down barriers, unlock potential, and create brighter futures.
A Commitment to Gender Equity
Street League is not only focused on employability as they are also committed to gender equity. Every Street League location now runs an all-female session, whether that’s a job club, sports activity, or academy programme. By doing so, they ensure young women have the same opportunity to benefit from sport, gain confidence, and build vital life skills.
Impact in Numbers (2024–2025)
Street League’s work continues to deliver life-changing outcomes:
• 783 participants (25%) were female
• 1,765 young people moved into employment, apprenticeships, education or training
• 989 (63%) secured sustained employment for at least six months
• 1,165 accredited qualifications were achieved
By raising funds through the Evelyn Partners Padel Cup, we’re helping Street League continue to reach young people who need it most, providing the skills, support, and opportunities to step into employment and achieve brighter futures.
The Evelyn Partners Padel Cup is a brand-new event bringing together teams from leading businesses for a day of competition, connection, and fundraising. Taking place on 16th October at Padium, Canary Wharf, the event marks the launch of what we hope will become an annual fixture in the corporate sporting calendar.
